Strengths Peer Coaching

What if you could better understand what naturally energizes you, how you contribute to a team, and the ways you can use your strengths to navigate challenges?

Strengths Peer Coaching gives Western undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to explore their unique strengths through a one-on-one coaching conversation with a Strengths Peer Coach.

What happens during a Coaching Appointment?

Your 60-minute session is an opportunity to explore your CliftonStrengths report and consider how your strengths show up in your life at Western and beyond.

Depending on what is most meaningful to you, your conversation might explore:

  • How your strengths show up in your academics, work, or extracurricular activities
  • Ways you contribute to teams and collaborate with others
  • Methods for how your strengths can help you navigate challenges or opportunities
  • How different strengths can complement one another
  • Ideas for how you can intentionally develop and apply your strengths
  • How your strengths connect to your goals for university, career, or personal development

The session is your conversation. You don't need to arrive with a specific goal or question—your coach will help you explore your results and identify areas that are meaningful to you.
